VIVAnews - Japan's nuclear reactors, Fukushima Daiichi badly damaged during the earthquake and tsunami in March. Hazardous radiation emanating from the reactor before the Japanese people support this.
Until now, the Japanese government is still trying to repair the reactor. But not easy. In fact, Japanese Atomic Energy Commission, the Cabinet stated that the repair process takes decades. in fact, disposal of debris in Fukushima is expected to be completed in the coming 2021.
"We plan to clean up debris within 10 years. And this is expected to take 30 years to make it inactive, as in Fukushima complicated process," the Japan Atomic Energy Commission report, as quoted by CNN.
Last month, the owner of the reactor, Tokyo Electric Power Company, said the new engineers will complete the closure of the leaking reactor and cooling it again at the end of this year.
Increasing temperature in the three reactors and cause melting of the building during the earthquake and tsunami of last March 11. When this temperature has been below 100 degrees centigrade, and should be in this condition before it is safe.
Leaking Fukushima reactor is claimed to be the worst after the Chernobyl reactor. Hydrogen explosion in reactor number 1 and 3. Meanwhile, the explosion also caused damage to reactor number 2. Own fire allegedly caused by rising temperatures in the reactor 4 which drain the fuel.
