One reason, says Mainelli, many users are prepared to spend U.S. $ 500 to buy the iPad, as users from the United States, now have it. And they are now beginning to move in the purchase of the replacement cycle.

If Apple wants to maintain sales levels iPad, they have to attract mainstream users. For the present, tablet PC for $ 500 (approximately Rp 4, 45 million) is still considered too expensive. Not to mention the Fire Kindle, Amazon's tablet PC is present in the price range of U.S. $ 199 (around Rp1, 76 million).

Mainelli said, if Apple wants to compete, they need to bring the tablet PC at a lower price. But that does not mean they need to launch 7-inch iPad, as suggested by some observers. "Apple simply using strategies iPhone," he said.
